Meet Captain Jesse
A family fishing trip in the Outer Banks in the summer of 2016 got me thinking about a different future. I wanted to trade more of my time with a tool belt for time on the water, fishing and sharing it with others.
Today, I’m a licensed captain offering inshore and Bay fishing around Virginia Beach. I take up to three guests at a time, so I can keep each trip personal.

Real catches. Good company.
Days worth remembering.

A little planning makes for
a better day on the water.
Fishing gear and tackle are provided. You do not need to purchase a fishing license for your charter.
Absolutely. Just let me know ahead of time if you’re bringing your own tackle so I can make sure there’s room for it on board.
Bring food, drinks, and personal items for your time aboard. Leave a large cooler with ice in your vehicle to transport your catch home. Fish cleaning is not provided.
I’ll confirm the launch location with you before your trip. Where we meet depends on the season, weather, and fishing conditions.
Trips depend on weather and wind conditions. I keep an eye on the forecast and will contact you if your trip needs to change. If I cancel a trip because of weather, you can rebook an available date. Catching fish is never guaranteed.
If you’re bringing children under 13, please bring a properly fitted life vest for each child. They must wear it for the entire trip.
There’s no toilet on board. It’s old-school out here: “Do what you have to do off the side of the boat.” Please keep that in mind when choosing your trip and planning for your crew.
Both half-day and full-day charters accommodate up to three guests. Rates are for the charter, rather than per person.
